A: Quite simply, our homemade wax melts are a scented piece of wax with no wick! To use you will need a wax burner. There are various wax burners available. Some come as glass or ceramic and require a tealight. Others will come as plug-in options and will require electricity and contain a bulb that heat the plate, to melt the wax.

A: We use two main waxes. One is a natural Soy blend and the other is Rapeseed & Coconut. Both options are vegan friendly and come from sustainable sources. We opt for biodegradable glitters* and choose sustainable and eco-friendly packaging* throughout our range! *eco-friendly options are always chosen when possible. Regarding the Rapeseed & Coconut Wax, should you have an allergy to any of these products, we would advise against purchasing. We would recommend our Reed Diffusers as a fabulous alternative to fragrance your home.

A: Each scent will be different. Some will last multiple days/tea lights. Others may be more subtle and need replacing sooner. Also, bear in mind that every nose is different. What seems strong to one person can be sublte to another. This is why we have a large range of scents, so you can find something that your nose things is just perfect! We never recommend 'topping up' your melted wax melt. It will simply dilute the overall fragrance. If you feel it has lost its scent, ensure you remove the existing wax, before replacing with some fresh wax.

A: Simply place your order through the website for any of our products including homemade wax melts. You can choose for your items to be posted or collect in store if you are local to Plymouth. You can come and browse too if you wish, but we sadly cannot keep EVERYTHING in stock within the salon/shop. If you have any questions at all, dont hesitate to get in touch beforehand. Yes! We are proud to be able to offer a range of gift options for all occasions. Whether its a teachers gift, a birthday, a baby shower, wedding, mothers day or just a thank you! We can help create something that suits your special someone, perfectly! We also try to offer options to suit all budgets, so if you cant find something within your range, we wont think you are being cheeky if you get in touch and tell us what you can afford. We will put a little package together to suit your budget.

A: Depending on your choice of delivery (1st or 2nd class), and also if there are any delays with Royal Mail – your order should be posted around 3-5 days from ordering. There is more information on shipping/posting on our 'Shipping and Returns' page.

A: We have worked hard to give you some of the most luxurious and unique scents on the market. We like to stand out from the crowd and offer something a little different! Take a look on the 'scent list' to get a full description of each scent available.

A: Of course! We have our own little shop here in Plymouth within Lashings of Beauty & Training salon. Simply choose ‘local collection’ at checkout. Please be aware your items may not be available immediately. We endeavour to have all orders ready within 3-5 days from ordering (this may be the same day if all products are in stock and available) Please contact us in advance for a definite collection day/time. Alternatively, you will receive an email once your order is ready to collect. Please note that our opening times may vary due to the nature of our business. A: Yes! We are constantly evolving! We started with wax melts and now have a huge range of products including reed diffusers, wax burners plus bath and body products. Keep your eyes on our social media pages for latest news or join our VIP Facebook group (link is at the bottom of this page) If there is something you would love us to introduce, please let us know!

A: Yes it is! We are on the lookout for stockists right across the country. If you would like to become part of the Wax By B. craze, then please get in touch. We think our products would be well suited to Hair/Beauty Salons, Boutiques & Gift Shops, but if you have an alternative business, we would still love to hear from you.

They're really simple! We like to keep things simple :) All you need to do is click 'Sign up' on the subscription boxes page. Follow the instructions with adding your payment details, then you will be charged the same time every month, for the subscription you have chosen. You must pay a month ahead, in order to get your subscription box. For example, you will need to pay by 31st January 2022, to get the February subscription box. If you pay in February, your subscription will not start until March. So you would receive your first box in March. This is to ensure all payments are made BEFORE boxes are sent out. If you wanted to grab that months subscription box, but missed the first payment date, just drop us a message. We can happily take a manual payment for that month :)

The great news for you, is that you can cancel anytime. We wont force you to sign up for 3 months etc to take advantage of these. To cancel, simply log in to your account, then click 'my subsciptions'. From there, you can cancel your future orders. Please note, once a payment is taken, we cannot refund it. If a payment is made, rest assured, you will still receive the following months subscription box, and then future orders will be cancelled.
